New Group Urges Action to Save Australia’s Cannabis Growers

A new group, the Australian Cannabis Cultivators Guild, is calling on the government to act fast to protect local medicinal cannabis growers from collapse. Led by Hale Farm’s Cade Turland, the group warned Health Minister Mark Butler that rising imports are hurting local businesses and pushing some to the brink. They’re urging a “domestic-first” policy that lets growers fully use their licensed capacity.
